Just lovely Cathy! I think I have a new favorite tree every spring. This year I’ve been particularly entranced by the catkins on my black willow & the vibrant green of the live oaks.
I haven’t one of these Graybeards but I enjoy their whispy, puff of smoke look in other’s yards as I ride around the county.
I love Eastern Redbuds, too! I planted one in my front yard in 2020, and it made a few little blooms last year. This year it doubled in height and was covered with blooms!

I love Grancy Graybeard. I planted mine 4-5 years ago and it still hasn't bloomed. It's still small, but healthy!
You’ll be so excited when it blooms!
A favorite? Can't say. But Eastern Redbuds are the ones that get my heart up and churning for the arrival of spring! Love Grancy Graybeards too.
